I’d like to work with you all to develop the future amateur players’ organisation. For me, the most important thing is that it suits you and that as many of you as possible are happy with it.

Please read the questions carefully and answer them based on your own personal views.

Based on the results, I will discuss with those in charge of the hobby sector how we should organise this in future. The main thing will be to find out if we stay in SuperSaas with the hobby player booking (additional software, costs ~100$/year) or if we move the booking to SPOND where we got everything else and which is free to use.

How often do you play badminton @ SV Lohhof?
How important is it for you to have a booking option for a guaranteed & permanent spot in a specific time slot?
In our old solution SuperSaas, the amount of courts *4 was the amount of spots that could get booked. (for example 3 courts = 12 spots) Every additional booking went on the waiting list.
How important is it for you to have a limitation of future bookings?
In our old solution in SuperSaas, everyone was limited to two future bookings - while everyone was able to book two weeks in advance. That made sure, everyone got a slot on a regulary basis. SPOND does not allow such a limitation.
In case of a limited amount of spots: Which is your favorite model?
Option A means if someone is not showing up, there are not enough players for doubles on every court. Option B offers two extra players which get rotated in in case every one shows up. Option C means, if everyone shows up, you rotate yourself with 5 players per court.
Should attendance be recorded and no-showups on a regular basis be punished?
I keep receiving complaints that booked players don’t show up. That’s annoying for everyone else beeing there missing players for doubles or players even beeing on the waiting list that could not come. SPOND offers the possibilty to track the attendance.
How far in advance should it be possible to make a booking?
After thinking about the different options - what do you think is the best software solution for the future? You can choose up to 3 options 🙂
